Internet Changes at Southmont Schools

Southmont Schools will be updating our Internet configuration for the upcoming school year beginning at 3:00 p.m. today.  This will change the Internet "location" of some of our websites, including PowerSchool, and as a result, over the weekend of 7/19/2019 – 7/21/2019 some sites may come up on your internet connection as ‘Not Available’ or ‘Site Not Available’.  This update takes time to propagate throughout the Internet and get to your Internet service provider.  Please be patient and try our sites again in a few hours time.

Medicaid Waiver Info Night

WCISSC and INSource are offering a community information night detailing how families may access Medicaid to fund supports and services for children and adults with disabilities.  For more information, see their flyer by clicking here.

INSource Parent Meeting April 24

INSource will hold a Parent Support Group meeting on April 24th from 11:00-2:00 at the West Central Special Services Cooperative.  More information can be found by clicking here.

April 11th - Spring Pictures taken at school
April 12th - Annual Spring Fling Carnival sponsored by PTO. 5:30 - food is served, 6:00 -  building ribbon cutting ceremony in the gym, the carnival goes until 8pm. 
April 16th - Incoming Kindergarten Screenings - please call the office to schedule an appointment.
April 19th - NO SCHOOL
April 22 - May 17th - ILearn window - please try to avoid scheduling appointments during this time if at all possible.
May 22nd - Final student day

INSource Parent Meeting

INSource is holding a parent support group meeting at the West Central Special Services Cooperative on March 20th from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.  Click here for more information.

They Played for Their Lives: Film Screening and Special Guest

On Saturday January 26, 2019 at 3 pm Southmont High School will be hosting a screening of the one-hour documentary, They Played For Their Lives. The film was made by Dr. Nurit Jugend. Dr. Jugend is a composer, music lecturer, and private tutor currently residing in California. She gives music appreciation classes, seminars, and teaches regularly at the Continuing Education Program at Stanford University.

Parent-Teacher Conferences 2018

Parents and students are reminded that parent-teacher conferences are scheduled for Friday, September 28th.  Please be sure to contact your child's school for more information or to schedule a conference.
